About River Bluff Brewing
River Bluff Brewing is a brewery on Frederick Avenue in St Joseph, Missouri. It is housed in the historic 1224 Frederick building, which its website says was the previous home of two pre-prohibition breweries. The brewery also runs a second taproom in Kansas City's River Market.
The flagship lineup includes Speedliner IPA, River Cream Ale and Union Lager. Sandy Dunes is a peppery, fruity, unfiltered Belgian style ale. Goldlion Golden Stout is a nitro stout infused with coffee.
Its website says the brewery has won medals at the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival. That includes a 2024 World Beer Cup Gold for American-Belgo-Style Ale. Taps rotate constantly, so the list changes from visit to visit.
