Breweries in Mississippi

Based on the breweries in the brewery.fyi register and their own websites, read September 2026.

Beer stores make up about half of the Mississippi list, a slightly bigger share than breweries. A few brewpubs and a beer garden fill out the rest. Where size is known, nearly all the breweries are microbreweries.

No single city leads by much. Jackson has about a tenth of the places, and Ocean Springs, Gulfport, Hattiesburg, Biloxi and Oxford each have a smaller share. The rest are spread across dozens of towns, including Laurel, Olive Branch, Natchez and Meridian.

Key City Brewery & Eatery in Vicksburg and Chandeleur Island Brewing Company in Gulfport are two of the most reviewed places in the state. Natchez Brewing Company and Hops and Growlers in Ocean Springs also draw plenty of reviews.

Planning a brewery trip in Mississippi

Jackson makes the easiest base, since more places cluster there than in any other city. Ocean Springs, Gulfport and Biloxi each have a group of their own, and so do Hattiesburg and Oxford.

Because beer stores make up so much of the list, check each page to see whether a place brews its own beer. Every brewery page on brewery.fyi has hours, a map and what to know before you go.
