About Beaver Island Brewing Company
Beaver Island Brewing Company is a brewery with a taproom on 6th Avenue South in St Cloud. Its website says it was named one of Forbes' 50 fastest growing breweries in the United States. It once shipped beer to four states and now pours it at the taproom.
The tap list runs wide. It includes a cream ale, a kolsch, a Vienna lager and a pilsner, plus several IPAs such as Axe Dragger, a Minnesota IPA. There are also stouts, porters and a few hard lemonades.
The name nods to the Beaver Islands that break up the Mississippi in St Cloud. Co-founder Matt Studer started out brewing in his garage. Brewmaster Chris Laumb joined him as a co-founder with more than 20 years of professional brewing.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio, and inside on a case-by-case basis. Beaver Island is one of the most reviewed breweries in St Cloud on this site.
