About South x SouthEast Brewing Company
South x SouthEast Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom just off US-52 in Pine Island. It aims to be the regional brewery for southeast Minnesota. The goal is traditional style beer for every bar, restaurant and liquor store in the area.
The house list runs from Easy A, a blonde ale with local honey, to Lazy Day IPA, a juicy New England hazy. Trailhead Amber, Frontage Road Stout with peanut butter, and Pine Island Pale Ale sit alongside them. Serendipity is a hard ginger beer brewed with gluten-free ingredients.
Outside, 3 acres of space are open to leashed, well-behaved pets. The taproom itself is pet free. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
Snacks include bake-in-taproom pizza from BB's Pizza in Rochester, cheese spreads, curds, beef sticks and pretzels. Radlers and shandies mix the beer with soda for a lighter pour.
