Venn Brewing Company is a neighborhood brewery and coffee shop in south Minneapolis. The taproom serves Venn beer alongside coffee service, giving the room a different rhythm in the morning and later in the day. The company says the name Venn means friend in Norwegian.
The beer list moves across hazy IPA, lager, sour, brown ale and other styles. Venn says all of its beers are gluten reduced, though they are still brewed with grains that contain gluten. Coffee, tea and non alcoholic drinks broaden the choices beyond beer.
Leashed dogs are welcome inside and outside, and the taproom has heated patio seating. Trivia Mafia runs on Sundays, while food trucks and events rotate through the calendar. Larger groups can contact the brewery about reservations and taproom rentals.
