About Blue Skies Brewery

Blue Skies Brewery is the brewery at Chateau Aeronautique Winery, on Pentecost Hwy in the Irish Hills of Onsted. The same 26 acres hold a winery, a distillery, a vineyard, a kitchen and an event venue. The brewery opened here in 2018.

The beers run from light to big and bold, brewed in small batches. Belgian Tripel, Chocolate Oatmeal Stout and Lemon Shandy are among them. Wine, hard cider and cocktails from the on-site distillery are poured here too.

The Biergarten is the main draw. It is a 5,500 square foot heated, covered, open-air space built in 2020 as a concert venue. Classic rock tribute bands, dance bands and dueling pianos play on weekends.

Inside, the tasting room is decorated with airline travel posters, and its bar top is the wing of a 1974 German glider. The kitchen serves food, and private events and weddings are booked here.
