About The Vierling Restaurant & Marquette Harbor Brewery
The Vierling Restaurant & Marquette Harbor Brewery is a brewpub in downtown Marquette, Michigan. Its website says the building went up in 1883 and became one of Michigan's first brew pubs in December 1995. Large windows look over the lower harbor.
The house beers come from a five-barrel system that its website says was made in Budapest, Hungary. The draft list includes a blonde ale, honey wheat, blueberry wheat, a session IPA, a pale ale, a red ale and a stout, plus a rotating guest tap. The red ale uses malt grown and malted in the Upper Peninsula.
The kitchen sources fish from local fisheries. The menu also covers sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza and pasta. Seating is indoors only.
Its website says Derek Anderson, known as Chumly, has been the only brewer since 1995. More people have reviewed The Vierling on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Marquette on this site.
