About Upper Hand Brewery
Upper Hand Brewery is a brewery on Airport Road in Escanaba, Michigan. It sits in the Delta Landing business park by the Delta County Airport, about two miles southwest of downtown. Its website says every can is a love letter to the Upper Peninsula.
The taproom has an 18-tap bar. The year-round beers include Yooper, Laughing Fish, Upper Hand Light, Upper Hand IPA and UPA. Seasonal pours include Escanaba Black Beer, Deer Camp and Sugarbush.
Inside, the taproom and a lounge with a small stage hold roughly 50 people. Outside, the website promises plenty of outdoor seating. There is no full kitchen, but the menu lists pizzas, soft pretzels and snacks like chicken fingers and mac & cheese wedges.
