Bier Distillery & Brewery is a distillery, brewery and restaurant in Comstock Park. Its website says the owners come from a long line of bakers and brewers. Distilled spirits was how they chose to put their stamp on that family tradition.
The bar makes spirits, beer and wine. The liqueurs lean Dutch, including Appeltaart apple pie liqueur, Stroopwafel cookie liqueur and Pepermunt peppermint liqueur. The beer list includes Red Colleen, an Irish red ale.
The kitchen serves a mix of Dutch and American bar food, all made from scratch to order. There is a front patio under umbrellas and a back patio under metal roof huts.
The bar also makes Niet Point, a non-alcoholic whiskey and a non-alcoholic gin. Its website calls them an option for the sober and the sober curious. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Comstock Park on this site.
