About Bright Ideas Brewing

Bright Ideas Brewing is a brewery and taproom on the MASS MoCA campus in North Adams. It was founded in 2016 with a simple goal: good beer for museum-goers and locals alike. The brewery says readers of the Berkshire Eagle voted it Best Brewery in the Berkshires from 2018 to 2022.

The brewing space is on full display, so you can see where the beer is made. The range covers traditional European lagers, sours, light alcoholic seltzer and New England hazy IPAs. Seasonal stouts and porters round it out, and a barrel and bottle aged program is growing.

Dogs and kids are both welcome. Live music, comedy, special events and games fill the calendar. Food comes from the neighboring Bigg Daddy's Steak House, which serves pub favorites.

Private rooms are available for small and large groups. Four-packs of the beer are sold in stores across the Pioneer Valley and the Berkshires.
