About Steinhardt Brewing
Steinhardt Brewing is a family-run brewery on East Patrick Street in Frederick. Its website says the Steinhardt name came to America in 1927, when John George Steinhardt immigrated from Munich. His son Jim now celebrates old-world Bavarian and Belgian-style beer.
The brewery began in 2014 in a detached garage in Braddock Heights. A few years later it opened a tasting room in the historic Union Mills Complex along Carroll Creek. A 2022 expansion tripled its capacity.
The beer menu on its website is sorted into ales, lagers, Belgian, Flemish, stouts, seltzer and sour. The expansion also added a large, private Biergarten courtyard. The website says dogs are welcome.
Food trucks and live music each have their own page on the website. Trivia runs on Thursday evenings. Google also lists the place as an event venue.
