About First Mile Brewing Company

First Mile Brewing Company sits on the first mile of US Route 1 in Fort Kent, Maine. The taproom is in a converted grain warehouse. It started as a group of home-brewing club members with a dream.

The taproom runs nine rotating taps. Styles range from a light lager and an Italian pilsner to an oatmeal stout, an Irish red ale and hoppy IPAs. There is also a hard seltzer, a Maine hard cider, wine and a non-alcoholic option.

You can take First Mile home. Mix-and-match 4-packs are sold in the taproom, and you can add a 4-pack when you order pizza to go.

Trivia runs on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Crafty Sipping happens on the second and fourth Sunday, and there is a Flight Night every Thursday. The entrance and the parking lot are both wheelchair accessible.
