About Fenders Brewing
Fenders Brewing is a brewery and taproom with a beer garden in Polk City. It started in a garage, where Steve Crann and Jason Madison brewed pilot batches to share at tasting festivals. Jessica and Nathan Faue took over in 2025.
The menu rotates through craft beer, ciders, sours, vodka seltzers, THC drinks and sodas. Wine is on offer too. Nate Faue brings 10 years of homebrewing, so expect some Fender's originals alongside new creations.
Events fill the calendar. Karaoke, comedy, live music, trivia and book clubs all show up, along with workshops and community gatherings. The patio is a big part of the draw.
The taproom also takes private parties, and it sells gift cards and personalized cans. Polk City sits on the east edge of Saylorville Lake, near Jester Park and the Neal Smith and High Trestle bike trails.
