About Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company
Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom at 101 Main St SE in Bondurant, on the Chichaqua Valley trail. It sits about 10 miles from Des Moines, which makes it an easy pit stop for cyclists. The taproom has 22 tap handles.
The whole lower level is given over to brewing, from start to finish. The beer goes into the glass upstairs, in a taproom decorated with reclaimed wood. Seating covers more than 100 people, and a historic stage is part of the room.
Beyond beer, the bar pours cider, seltzer, draft root beer and ginger beer, and a long bourbon list. Mixed drinks are on the menu too. Beer to go comes in 16 oz 4-packs, and kegs can be ordered.
Trivia runs every Thursday night, and live music, game nights and beer releases fill the calendar. The taproom can be rented for birthdays and company get-togethers.
