About Afterburner Brewing Company

Afterburner Brewing Company is a family-owned taproom in Terre Haute, set up in 2019 by four local veterans. It is veteran owned and military friendly. The goal is a place for service members to gather and enjoy a cold beer with friends.

The taproom is open-concept and sits within the old Terre Haute Brewing district. The seven barrel brewery was made in Indiana, and the owners buy from Indiana businesses first. The brewery also showcases ingredients from Indiana growers.

The name comes from a club the owners used to visit after work. They were home-brewers who liked the idea of staying late for a few beers. There is outdoor seating, and food vendors are listed on the food page.

You can take beer home in a 32oz crowler filled to order. Weekly trivia is hosted by Hambone's Trivia. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Terre Haute on this site.
