About Man Cave Brewing Company
Man Cave Brewing Company is a brewpub about 3 miles south of Syracuse, Indiana, on the shores of Lake Wawasee. Three friends turned a renovated pole building into a guys retreat in 2007 and then started brewing. The pub and restaurant has been open since March 2018.
The onsite microbrewery uses a 10 barrel system. Honey Badger and Sandbar Blonde are light and crisp beers, and Wee Heavy Lass is a darker one. The beers are not pasteurized or filtered.
There is an eclectic full menu and a full bar. The pub also has a family room. Takeout orders go in by phone, and growlers are available to carry out.
A 10.5 kilowatt solar array covers part of the pub's electricity use. Spent grain goes to local livestock farmers as feed.
