South Bend Brew Werks is a brewpub on South Main Street in downtown South Bend. Its website says it is Downtown South Bend's first brewpub, opened in 2014. It moved in 2021 into the historic Hibberd building, across from Four Winds Field.
The brewery runs a program called Beer4Good. Each month it partners with a local community organization, and a portion of each pint goes to that partner. Its website says the program has donated to local non-profits since it began, including its two founding partners, La Casa de Amistad and The Music Village.
The website calls it South Bend's only family-owned and operated brewpub, serving food and beer. You can sit at the bartop, at tables, or on the patio. Dogs are welcome on the patio, and only service dogs are allowed inside.
The space can be rented for private or ticketed events. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in South Bend on this site.
