About Hog Molly Brewing
Hog Molly Brewing is a brewery and family-friendly taproom in Columbus, Indiana. Owners Lou and Martha Krempel spent most of 2019 turning an empty metal building into the taproom. The name is a football nickname for an offensive lineman, and both Lou and their son played on the line.
The website lists 24 of its beers on tap. It says the brewers make traditional styles and fruited styles with traditional roots. The bar also pours canned cider, wine, non-alcoholic beer and other non-alcoholic drinks.
There is a kitchen, and the website says it closes one hour before the taproom does. Children are welcome, and dogs are welcome outdoors. Live music plays every Wednesday and most weekends.
Trivia, music bingo and paint events fill out the rest of the calendar. The brewery also rents its space for private events. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Columbus on this site.
