About Buffalo Creek Brewing

Buffalo Creek Brewing is a brewery on Historical Lane in Long Grove, Illinois. The brewery says it is Lake County's only destination brewery. The owners turned the former art studio of the Long Grove Academy of Fine Arts into the brewing space.

Long Grove Lager is a Vienna lager. Half Nelson is a double dry hopped American wheat, and Angelic Helles is a Munich style helles. Marrvelous, a German style Kolsch, is the flagship, and Red Headed Stepchild is a seasonal strawberry blonde.

The taproom has a Bavarian theme, with cedar walls, a hand hammered copper bar and communal tables. Outside, the Biergarten has a gazebo and lights in the evening. The facility holds more than 350 people.

Live music plays every Saturday evening, and tours run on Saturdays by appointment. The taproom is not a restaurant, but it offers light snacks. There are also food trucks and taproom trivia.
