About Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery
Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery is a small, family-run brewery on a working farm outside Lena, in northwest Illinois. The beer is brewed inside a barn on the property. Its website says several of the beers use ingredients grown right on the farm.
The brewery opened in 2016, and the farm started in 2009. The batches are small, so the website says a new beer is on tap almost every weekend. You can sample with a flight or take beer home in a growler or a 22 oz bottle.
The taproom has indoor seating all year. Seasonal seating sits in the orchard beer garden and on the patio. Dogs on a short leash are welcome in the grass-covered beer garden, but not inside the building.
