Cobra Lounge is a bar, restaurant and music venue on North Ashland Avenue in Chicago. Its beer comes from All Rise Brewery, which the website calls its in-house brewery. The taps pour that rotating house lineup plus a few guest drafts from friends of the bar.
Chef Jason Gilmore runs the kitchen. The menu covers burgers, chicken, veggies, soups and bar staples, with what the website calls a Chicago rock 'n roll twist. There is a burger and a dog of the month, plus a soup of the moment.
A full bar adds wine and cocktails to the beer. Bands can ask to play through a booking form on the website. The lounge also sells its own merch, from T-shirts and flannels to koozies.
The website says everyone is welcome, from pristine office shoes to dirty construction boots. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Chicago on this site.
