About Horned Owl Brewing
Horned Owl Brewing is a brewery and taproom in Downtown Kennesaw. It has a 6,931 square-foot taproom in the town's entertainment district. There is an outdoor patio, bar games and music.
Founder Joe Uhl set out to build a local tasting room for the people around it. The focus is nearby neighbors and restaurants, not broad distribution. The owl comes from his German last name, Uhl, which means owl.
The brewery has its own kitchen, and you may bring in outside food if you prefer. Head brewer Eric Geralds has also brewed at New Realm and Jekyll. Guests who do not drink can order sodas, mocktails, juice and flavored sparkling water.
All ages are welcome, and well-behaved leashed dogs can join you in the outdoor area. More people have reviewed Horned Owl Brewing on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Kennesaw on this site.

Can I bring my dog to Horned Owl Brewing?
Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome in the outdoor area. Dogs are not allowed inside the taproom at any time, per the Department of Health.
Can I bring outside food?
Yes. The brewery has its own kitchen, but you may bring in outside food. Outside alcohol is not allowed.
Can I take beer home?
Yes. Draft and to-go beer are available Tuesday to Sunday. State law limits to-go sales to 288 ounces per person per day, and the brewery does not sell kegs.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There are ramps on both sides of the building and low top tables. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
