About Contrast Artisan Ales
Contrast Artisan Ales is a brewery on Peachtree Road in downtown Chamblee. It has a second taproom in Marietta, and this page covers the Chamblee one. Its website sorts the beer into four groups: light, sour, hoppy and dark.
The light beers are blonde, pale, amber and red ales built to be easy to drink. The sours are mostly kettle sours made with a house Lactobacillus culture, and some are infused with fruit, herbs, spices or tea. The hoppy beers run from West Coast to hazy New England to Brut.
Dark beers are made year-round. The website lists browns, porters and stouts, some on nitro, some with coffee, and some aged in oak.
The Chamblee calendar lists food trucks, live music and trivia nights. The website marks the Chamblee taproom as Marta accessible. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Chamblee on this site.
