About American Axes - Axe Throwing Downtown Atlanta

From American Axes' own website and its Google listing, read October 3, 2026.

American Axes - Axe Throwing Downtown Atlanta is an axe throwing venue inside Skol Brewing, on Carnegie Way NW in Atlanta. Google lists it as a brewery, an adventure sports center and a sports club. It is one of three Georgia locations of American Axes.

Each lane holds up to 6 people and can be reserved by the hour. Instructors walk first timers through throwing safely. Its website says it also has league approved axes and lanes for advanced throwers.

The venue shares a roof with Skol Brewing, which the site calls a food-forward brewpub with Nordic-inspired fare. Guests get table service from Skol's full food and drink menu while they throw. The site names the Jucy Lucy burger and the Lazy Luchador IPA.

American Axes is a family owned business, and its website says nobody on the team had thrown an axe before 2019. The look follows a National Parks theme. Games play on the TVs, and there are some retro video games on the side.
