Green Bench Brewing Company is a brewery with a beer garden and tasting room on Baum Avenue North in St. Petersburg. The website says it was St. Petersburg's first microbrewery. Its owners began building the facility in 2013 after changing local zoning rules to make it possible.
Core beers include Sunshine City IPA, Postcard Pils, Bench Life light lager and Skyway, a hazy double IPA. Green Bench also ferments a French-style saison in a foeder and blends mixed culture ales. Mead and cider made with apple juice blends and local honey sit alongside the beer.
Webb's City Cellar is the brewery's sister bar, at the same address. It has its own tap list and bottle menu, and a slower, quieter feel.
The events calendar includes trivia nights, live entertainment and ticketed events. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in St. Petersburg on this site.
