3 Daughters Brewing is the original 3 Daughters tasting room, in a big warehouse in St. Petersburg that doubles as a live entertainment venue. The website says it is one of the busiest tasting rooms in Florida, serving over 250,000 guests a year. Google lists it as a brewery, a brewpub, a restaurant and a live music venue.
The story starts in a restaurant kitchen. Mike Harting and chef Ty Weaver brewed beer for a beer-battered fish, and it outsold every other beer on tap. Mike and Leigh Harting opened 3 Daughters here in December 2013, named for the three daughters they hoped the beer would put through college.
The St. Pete tasting room has over 40 taps, and the lineup changes often. Along with beer there is hard cider, seltzer, wine and sangria.
The kitchen menu includes gluten free, vegetarian and kid options. More people have reviewed 3 Daughters on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in St. Petersburg on this site.
