About The Local Brew Company
The Local Brew Company is a brewery, coffee bar and wine taproom on Cypress Village Blvd in Ruskin. Fresh beer is brewed on-site in rotating small batches, and the same room serves espresso, house wine and hard seltzer.
The beer lineup runs from crisp lagers and bold IPAs to rich dark beers and seasonal releases. Crowlers to-go are available, and the tap list changes often. The house wine is poured fresh from the tap, in red and white.
Coffee comes from a robotic barista, and the kitchen turns out warm pretzels, Cuban egg rolls and other shareable bites. Weekly bingo, run club meetups, game nights and trivia keep the room busy. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible. The founders, Aaron and Joelle Schmalzle, spent years at a production brewery in Central Florida before opening this spot.
