Sideward Brewing Co. is a family-owned brewery, taproom and kitchen in Orlando's Milk District. It brews in a renovated 100-year-old warehouse on North Bumby Avenue, and you drink the beer about 50 feet from where it was made. The three co-founders, Garrett, Mandy and Austin, all grew up in Orlando.
There are 20 taps, and the beer changes constantly. Regulars include Punks in the Waiting Room, a house lager, and Moon Boots, the flagship IPA. Sideward also makes its own cider, hard seltzer, mead and gluten-free sours, plus a house root beer.
The full kitchen makes everything in house. Weekly specials include breakfast burritos on Sunday, hot dogs on Tuesday and Italian beefs on Wednesday, each served until they sell out.
Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome on the large covered patio. Cyclists get a discount on Tuesday Bike Night, and the Milk District Run Club meets on Thursdays.

Seating is mostly first come, first served. For parties of 10 or more, call and ask the taproom manager, who can sometimes hold patio space.

Yes. Sideward sells 4-packs of 16 ounce cans and fills crowlers. It cannot ship beer.

Come hungry and come early on special days, since the burritos, hot dogs and Italian beefs run until they sell out. The taproom is small, so there is no live music and no private event space. It is closed Mondays, and Sunday hours are shorter.
