About Grindhaus Brew Lab
Grindhaus Brew Lab is a movie-themed boutique brewery and taproom in Clearwater. It sits in the Hercules Space Center industrial complex on North Hercules Avenue. On Saturday nights the brewhouse turns into a cinema with a 135-inch screen and complimentary hot popcorn.
Robb Larson and Lisa Colburn own and run it. The website says one of them is always behind the bar pouring your beer. It began in 2015 as HiFi Homebrew and BBQ Supply, and the brewery was added in late 2016.
The website says every beer is made in batches of one barrel or smaller. The tap list rotates through classic styles, seasonals, seltzers and sours. New beers tap every Friday afternoon.
Popcorn, chips and movie snacks are sold in the taproom, and you can carry in food from anywhere. The website also lists private events, vendor pop ups and markets. The taproom hosts a monthly adult spelling bee with the Clearwater Public Library and a monthly book club.
