Other Half Brewing Washington DC is a taproom on Okie Street NE in Ivy City. It sits right next to Other Half's largest production facility. You can drink in the taproom, on a covered patio, next to the rail car or up on the rooftop.
Other Half started in Brooklyn in 2014 and is known for its hazy IPAs and pastry stouts. The DC draft list also leans hard into lagers. Recent pours included Ivy City Festbier, Palatine Pils, Snaps and Green Flowers, the brewery's West Coast IPA.
The taproom sells soft drinks and snacks rather than a full menu. Cans and bottles are sold to go, and you can order ahead for pickup on the website. The covered patio is set up for watching the game.
Dogs are welcome everywhere except the rooftop, as long as they are leashed and well behaved. Kids are welcome with close supervision. The events calendar lists DC trivia nights and cooking classes.
