About Storm Peak Brewing Company

Storm Peak Brewing Company is the brewing facility and taproom on the west side of Steamboat Springs. Its website calls it the original taproom. It has a big indoor space and a rooftop patio.

The beer is made on a 20-barrel brewhouse. The core lineup includes Maestro IPA, Chowder hazy IPA, Money Trees IPA and Urban Sombrero Mexican-style lager. Its website says Hoochie Mama, a guava kettle sour, won a GABF silver medal.

There is no kitchen at this taproom. Guests are welcome to bring in food from home or from the neighbors, Moe's BBQ and How Ya Doin' Pizza N' Eats. Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome, and so are kids.

Almost all of the beers are brewed to reduce gluten, and there are non-alcoholic options too. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Steamboat Springs on this site.
