About Mountain Tap Brewery

Mountain Tap Brewery is a brewpub on Yampa Street in Steamboat Springs. Its website says it opened in 2016, in the former home of Yampa Valley Electric Association. Co-founder Rich Tucciarone brewed at Breckenridge Brewery and Kona Brewing Company before coming back to Steamboat.

The site says there are always 12 house made beers on tap. They range from a light passionfruit wheat ale to a dry-hopped IPA to a dark and roasty stout. The website also says the beers are crafted to reduce gluten.

Food comes out of a wood fire. The website describes a full menu of wood-fired cuisine, and Google lists the place as a pizza restaurant too. You can take beer home in crowlers and growlers.

Trivia runs every Thursday, and brewery tours run every Wednesday. More people have reviewed Mountain Tap Brewery on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Steamboat Springs on this site.
