A Bit Twisted Brewpub and BBQ brings Central Texas style barbecue and Colorado craft brews together in Aurora. The website says it is the work of two guys from Colorado and two from Texas. They are big sports fans, and the games are always on, especially during college football, NFL and hockey season.
The beer is brewed in-house, alongside guest taps and creative cocktails. The menu sells smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken by the pound, plus platters with Twisted Mama's Tater Salad and smoked baked beans. Texas Twinkies are jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, wrapped in candy bacon and deep fried.
Other dishes include the Pulled Pork Sundae, a pork hot link made from in-house ground pork, mac n' cheese bowls and tacos. There is a kids menu too.
Sunday Night Trivia runs every Sunday from 5:30 to 7:30. The brewpub takes reservations, books private parties and offers catering.
