MadeWest Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom on Donlon Street in Ventura. Its website says it grew out of lifelong friends who wanted to share handmade craft beer with their home state. Mike Morrison is the founder and head brewer, and Seth Gibson is the founder and CEO.

Standard is a blonde ale, and the website lists a GABF gold in 2018 and a GABF silver in 2019 for it. The lineup also includes Ventura Light, a light lager made with Cascade hops. A hazy IPA built on Mosaic hops is on the list too.
