About Balcom Canyon Cider
Balcom Canyon Cider is a cidery and cider bar in Ventura. Its website says founder and master cidermaker Blake Kininmonth opened it in 2022.
The site says Kininmonth began with home brewing and backyard projects. One year he made blackberry wine from over 100 pounds of blackberries, and his friends said it tasted like Cabernet. That led him to ferment berries, stonefruits and eventually apples.
