Pocock Brewing Company is a brewery and tasting room with its own pizzeria on Avenue Tibbitts in Santa Clarita. Its tap list covers a lot of ground, from Japanese and Mexican style lagers to an English ESB. The rarest pour is a 10th Anniversary Russian imperial stout aged two years in Jack Daniels whiskey barrels.
Lighter beers include Saikō No Ragā, a Japanese lager that also comes in a yuzu version, plus a Märzen and a French saison. For hops there is First 13, a honey pale ale, and Surfing Hippos, a hazy IPA. The malty side runs to a dunkel, an Irish red and Witch Doctor's Imperial Stout.
Pocock runs its own pizzeria, so you can eat with your beer. Gluten-free drinkers get hard ciders from Brown's Hard Cider and a hard seltzer mule.
Most beers go home in 32 ounce crowlers, and some come in 16 ounce four-packs. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Santa Clarita on this site.
