Pure Project is a brewery and taproom on Kenamar Drive in the Miramar area of San Diego. Its own website calls this the location where it all started: after an early brewery venture in Costa Rica did not work out, the founders found a space in Miramar with a prebuilt brewing system already in place. That is how this taproom became the first Pure Project location in San Diego.
The taproom pours a wide range of styles, from specialty IPAs and double IPAs to stouts, sours and one-off wildcards. Pure Project also brews non-alcoholic beer, including Grounded IPA and Sunsip Blonde, at under 0.5% ABV. Beyond beer, the lineup runs to hard seltzers, hard smoothies, wine and cider.
Google describes it as a snug, casual tasting room that serves flights and pints of globally inspired craft beer.
