Hopsology Taproom and Wine Bar/Brewery is a neighborhood taproom and wine bar on Bell Road in Glendale where you can brew your own beer. Its professional-grade brewhouse hosts classes, one-on-one lessons and group brew days. Each 5-gallon batch sends you home with about 35 cans, custom labels included.
The tap wall has 26 taps rotating through Arizona craft beer, and now and then a Hopsology original. There is a full wine list, house cocktails called Craft Tales and rotating frozen slushies. A real non-alcoholic beer and wine selection is kept on hand too.
Adam and Allie, a husband and wife team of homebrewers, opened Hopsology in March 2025. They also run What Ale's Ya, a homebrew supply shop founded in 1996, which moved in a month later. Hopsology earned its microbrewery license in January 2026.
The events calendar runs to trivia, karaoke, cornhole tournaments, paint and sip nights and food trucks. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Glendale on this site.

Can I brew my own beer at Hopsology?
Yes. Beginner 101 and 201 classes charge a per person fee, with 10 seats per class. Each class runs 3 to 5 hours, and your beer is ready about 12 days later.
Can I book a brewing party?
Yes. Group and private brew sessions take up to 10 people, with their own brewing and seating area. They work for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties and team building.
Is there a happy hour at Hopsology?
Yes. From noon to 3pm Tuesday through Thursday, pitchers and wine are discounted. Wine Down Wednesday brings half off select bottles all day.
