
About Lumberyard Brewing Co
Lumberyard Brewing Co is a brewpub in a restored lumber building just south of the railroad tracks in downtown Flagstaff. Its website says the Halstead Lumberyard Building dates to the early 1900s and sat abandoned for 8 years. The brewery opened its doors there in 2010.
Winnie and Evan Hanseth also opened Flagstaff's first brewpub, Beaver Street Brewery, in 1994. At Lumberyard they brew Flagstaff IPA at 7,000 feet, plus Railhead Red, a smooth amber ale, and Hazy Angel IPA. The website says the beers have won awards.
The kitchen serves scratch-made pub food, from burgers and wings to mac n' cheese balls. There is a kids menu and a gluten-free menu. Google describes a taproom, an eatery and a patio with a fire pit.
Brewery tours run by appointment most afternoons. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Flagstaff on this site.
