About Varietal Beer Company
Varietal Beer Company is a brewery and taproom in Sunnyside, in the lower Yakima valley. Its website says all of its beer is brewed in Sunnyside, on a 10 barrel brewhouse. The taproom and the brewery share the same building.
The beer list leans hoppy. The beer page shows a long run of IPAs, including West Coast, hazy and double styles, along with a spelt lager, a pilsner and a tangerine wheat ale. The tap list changes often, and guest taps and ciders show up for limited periods.
