Flying Lion Brewing is a family owned brewery and taproom in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle. Its website says it was conceived by four beer-loving brothers and their parents, and that it opened in 2014. It all started with root beer batches in the basement.
The taproom has a curved bar, a garage door that rolls up, and a heated patio. Wherever you sit, you are within sight of the brewing operation. The website says the taproom is kid and dog-friendly.
The website says the taproom offers 20 constantly changing beers. There is no kitchen, but you are welcome to bring your own food. You can also fill a growler, take home a 4-pack or order a liter stein.
