About Caps N' Taps

Caps N' Taps is a taproom and bottle shop on NE 4th Avenue in downtown Camas. Its website says it opened in 2013 with one idea: give downtown a spot where people could linger. It keeps 20 rotating taps and around 150 bottled brews.

The taps lean toward local Pacific Northwest breweries, with ciders on draft too. The bottle shop lets you drink a bottle there or take it home. The bar also pours Washington and Oregon wines and a cocktail list.

The room has sofas by the front windows and tall stools at the back. A shelf of board games sits ready, and the website says nobody is in a rush. Sidewalk seating is out front, and dogs are welcome on the patio.

The kitchen is tiny, with a limited menu of nachos, hummus, a cheese plate and hot sandwiches, and you can also bring in food from nearby downtown spots. Weekly events include live music, trivia, book club and record club. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Camas on this site.
