Breweries in Utah

Salt Lake City dominates the Utah beer map, with about two fifths of the breweries on its own. Ogden and Park City come next. Together the three hold roughly three fifths of them.
The rest are spread across a small group of towns, such as South Salt Lake, Midvale, Logan and St. George. Almost every place listed is a brewery, and where size is known, brewpubs come close to matching microbreweries.
Fisher Brewing Company in the Granary District is now employee owned, and its website says it was one of Utah's first breweries. Templin Family Brewing, also in the Granary District, brews traditional lagers the German way. Epic Brewing Company keeps a Salt Lake City taproom with full-strength beer to go.
Planning a brewery trip in Utah
Salt Lake City makes the easiest base, since more breweries cluster there than anywhere else in the state. Ogden and Park City each have a small group of their own, and Midvale has a few more.
Beyond those cities the breweries are spread out, so plan each stop before you drive. Every brewery page on brewery.fyi has hours, a map and what to know before you go. Check it on the day, since taproom hours can change.
