About Atheneum Cider
Atheneum Cider is a cider bar on North Saginaw Boulevard in Saginaw. It makes ciders that go well past plain apple, with pairings like pineapple and jalapeno or raspberry and hibiscus. The brewery says its ciders won People's Choice: Best Cider at Hops and Props every year from 2021 to 2025.
The menu rotates constantly. The tap list has included a dry apple, a sour apple, ginger and lime, a coffee cake cider, and one made with Citra and Cascade hops. Non-alcoholic options are available.
Events fill the week. Wednesday brings Fort Worth Game Night, Thursday is tabletop game night, and Friday is Music Bingo. Trivia and karaoke take turns on Saturdays, every other week.
The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible. Atheneum has also made collaboration ciders with other makers, including a chocolate-cherry stout brewed at Neutral Ground Brewing Company.
