About Naked Iguana Brewery
Naked Iguana Brewery is an independent brewery on the Strand, in Galveston's historic downtown district. Richard and Tracy Rennison opened it in November 2023. Its website says the Galveston Daily News 2024 Best of Awards honored it with Best Brewery, among other awards.
The team makes a wide variety of beers and seltzers in-house on a 7 barrel system that is on full display. The taproom also pours wine, cider, hard seltzer cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Try a flight of four to sample the lineup.
Next door is a beer garden with a 150-inch screen for sports and a children's corner. Both the taproom and the beer garden are family and pet friendly. Food trucks visit most Sundays in peak season, and you can bring your own food at any time.
The website says the head brewer and owner is usually on site for tours and questions. Private event space is available too. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Galveston on this site.
