Number Brewery is a brewery and tap house on Texas Avenue in El Paso. Its website says the beers go by numbers, and the reason is the founder's story. In 2012 the brewer began marking bottle caps with numbers to tell early batches apart.
The story goes on from there. Friends at small parties started asking for another Number One or Number Two, and the habit stuck. The site says the brewery still keeps no fancy names.
The lineup on its website includes a brown ale, an American lager, an amber lager, a hazy IPA and a stone fruit IPA. There is also a dragon fruit beer. No. 6 is a Kölsch brewed in the German style, and a dragon fruit seltzer is listed as the newest addition.
The website also describes a can your last beer feature. You finish your beer at the bar and ask to have it refilled and canned to take home. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.
