Kool Keg is a beer store, growler bar and keg shop on South East Street in Arlington. It has been selling kegs, margarita machines and alcohol catering around Dallas-Fort Worth since 1982. The website says it keeps 300 kegs in stock.
The shelves carry packaged beer from a long list of breweries, including Saint Arnold, Real Ale, Jester King, Deschutes and Founders. If a brand is not in stock, the store says it can get it within 24 hours. Standard 15.5 gallon and pony kegs are both available.
The growler bar keeps later hours than the store. Kool Keg also rents and sells kegerators, coil boxes and home fridge conversion kits, and it refills CO2 in the store.
