About Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing
From Dead Armadillo's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing is a Tulsa brewery on East 4th Street, near downtown. It began as a garage dream, and a 2013 Kickstarter campaign paid for its first contract-brewed batches at Roughtail Brewing Co. in Midwest City. The first beer was Dead Armadillo Amber, kegged in May 2013.
The brewery moved into its own Tulsa building and brewed its first batches there in August 2015. The taproom opened in June 2016. An outdoor space called the Boneyard followed in 2018, then a larger taproom in 2020 and a new patio in 2023.
The taproom pours flights and fills growlers, and packaged beer goes home too. The beer list runs from year-round beers to seasonals and a partnership series. Blackhop Black IPA was the brewery's very first seasonal, back in 2013.
The website says the Taproom and the Boneyard are both wheelchair accessible. You can also book the brewery for an event through the site.
