About Prairie OKC

Prairie OKC is the Oklahoma City taproom of Prairie Artisan Ales, inside the 8th Street Market in Automobile Alley. It has 16 taps, and the beers are brewed right on site. Prairie first made its name with a big imperial stout, and big stouts are still its calling card.
Brothers Chase and Colin Healey founded Prairie in 2012, and its flagship imperial stout followed in 2013. Krebs Brewing Company, which calls itself the oldest brewery in Oklahoma, took over the Prairie brands in 2016. The Oklahoma City taproom opened in 2017.
Big imperial stouts and sour ales are the house specialties. The beer library runs from barrel-aged stouts to fruit sours like Rainbow Sherbet and Blueberry Boyfriend. You can try Prairie classics here as well as fresh beers brewed in the building.
BanjoBug Trivia runs general trivia every Sunday afternoon and a themed night every other Wednesday. More people have reviewed Prairie OKC on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Oklahoma City on this site.
