About Tarboro Brewing Company
Tarboro Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom on North Main Street in Tarboro. The brewery says it is Edgecombe County's first craft brewery and taproom. It tapped its first beer in February 2016, and the taproom opened that June.
The building was once a Chevrolet dealership. About half of the 10,000 square feet is production, and the rest is the taproom and portico. A 40 barrel system makes large batches that sell in Virginia too.
The flagship beers include Bobby Boucher, a juicy hazy IPA, and Sexy Canoe, a light lager. Golden Ticket is a pilsner, and Seed Spitter is a watermelon gose. Wine and non-alcoholic choices are on hand too, including NA Canoe, a non-alcoholic pilsner.
Food trucks visit the taproom, and the events page shows which ones are coming. The space also hosts rehearsal dinners, farmers markets, concerts and business meetings. The entrance and the parking lot are both wheelchair accessible.

Expect a large taproom in a former Chevrolet dealership. The beer is made on site, in the other half of the building.
